The Submission of the Press

This is not good news for a global free press or for free societies in general. Newspapers all over the world are submitting to the Cartoon Jihadists out of physical and economic fear.

Now that the fanatical Islamic jihadists know that the media of the world can be cowed, they will begin to demand other concessions in the name of respect for Islam. Will they now demand all women wear head scarves? Allowing a Muslim man to look upon the hair of a woman, Muslim or non-Muslim is a violation of Islam.

If a free press isn't worth fighting for, then other freedoms won't be fought for.
